You'll have no more tangled jumbles of thread when you make and use these handy thread cases. Special slots in each pocket enable you to easily thread a needle without removing the spools from their pockets and keep everything neat as a pin.The large case has four see-through pockets which hold up to 48 spools of thread as well as a larger pocket for scissors, needles, and other supplies. The 10" x 30" organiser neatly folds to a compact 8" x 10".Perfect for individual projects, the small case holds up to 12 spools of thread and folds to measure 5" x 5". Directions are given for a standing case as well as a version that folds flat.

To make both cases you will need:
- 1/2 yard main fabric for outside of bag
- 1/2 yard coordinating fabric for lining
- 1/2 yard coordinating fabric for binding
- 10" x 24" piece of clear vinyl, medium- to heavy-weight
- 9" x 10" piece of ultrasuede
- 12" x 38" foam stabiliser - (eg. ByAnnie's Soft and Stable, Bosal In-R-Form or car headliner)
- matching thread

For the large case you will also need:
- Five 12" or longer zippers (bag zippers preffered) to match lining fabric
- One button, about 1" in diameter
- 3" of 1/4"-wide elastic

For the small case you will also need:
- Two 7" or longer zippers to match lining fabric
- 2" of 5/8"-wide hook and loop fastener
