Fabric is ordered in multiples of 0.25 metres.  So if you require 1.25 metres, you should enter a quantity of 5, or if you require 0.5 metres, you should enter a quantity of 2.  If you order a quantity of more than 1 then fabric will be cut in a continuous length.

However, if you choose to order fat quarters instead of fabric by the quarter metre then fabric will be cut into individual fat quarters regardless of the quantity entered, so if you order a quantity of 3, you will receive 3 separate fat quarters.
